Job summary

The Hubbell Internship Program offers a 10 to 12-week, paid opportunity to gain corporate experience and learn about all aspects of our business. This intern will develop a data-driven framework to identify and prioritize commercial growth opportunities and deliver executive-ready dashboards and recommendations.

You'll join a collaborative team in Shelton, CT, work on real-world projects, analyze revenue and market data, and present findings to senior leadership at the end of the program.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited college with a May-August 2027 internship window.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to interpret data.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

This intern will focus on developing a data-driven framework to identify and prioritize commercial growth opportunities. Responsibilities include analyzing revenue, customer, market, and sales pipeline data; gathering stakeholder requirements; creating a standardized opportunity-assessment methodology; and developing executive-ready dashboards and recommendations that support informed, profitable growth decisions.

A Day In The Life

What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in commercial strategy, revenue operations, market intelligence, and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred

Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
