Global Manufacturing Robotics & Automation helps GM build high‑quality vehicles to our customers by combining robotics, automation, controls, manufacturing software, advanced manufacturing, product development, simulation, plant deployment, and program management to improve manufacturing safety, quality, cost, delivery, flexibility, and competitiveness. Our team works to solve plant‑critical challenges and develop scalable solutions. Interns will gain hands‑on experience solving real manufacturing problems and contributing to innovations that will shape the future of vehicle production.

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Warren Technical Center on a full‑time basis. Some internship roles require up to 75% domestic travel. GM will provide a one‑time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2027 Student Program. Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2027.
