Job summary

DuPont’s engineering internship opportunities provide hands-on experience on real, impactful projects. You’ll work alongside experienced DuPont professionals, applying classroom learning to solve industry challenges in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Summer may be available May–August, with on-site roles across multiple locations. You’ll gain mentorship, develop core technical skills, and contribute to teams focused on innovative technologies and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale).
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing, operations, and engineering projects relevant to DuPont businesses.
• Participate in mentorship and technical training within a team setting.
• Collaborate across teams to gain exposure to innovative technologies and processes.

Our student program offers internship and co-op assignments that support your career growth while giving you meaningful opportunities to contribute. Assignment length and scope may vary by site and function; each experience is designed to help you build skills, make an impact, and develop as a future leader. Typical opportunities in manufacturing, operations, and business may include Manufacturing Technical and Process Engineering, Automation and Process Control, Leveraged Engineering, Equipment Reliability and Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality, and Technical Service.

Summer Interns must be available from May -August.

Requirements

To be considered, the following requirements must be met:

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering disciplines from an ABET accredited program

• GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale)

• Legal right to work in the U.S. without restriction

The Pay range for this role is $16.10 - $25.30 Hourly
