Job summary

The Hubbell Internship Program offers a 10 to 12-week immersive experience at Hubbell Incorporated, designed to expose students to manufacturing and testing processes. You will analyze workflows, design fixtures, and implement tooling solutions to boost efficiency and quality on the production floor.

We seek enrolled undergraduates or graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA, proficient in Microsoft Office, and hands-on experience with digital multimeters and wiring harness assembly.

Qualifications

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university during May-August 2027.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Experience using digital multimeters and assembling wire harnesses with crimping and termination.

Job Overview

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.


This intern will focus on improving manufacturing and testing processes by analyzing existing workflows, fixtures, and procedures. The intern will design and implement new test fixtures, manufacturing methods, and tooling solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity on the production floor.

  • Working on challenging robust projects that will provide practical experience.

  • Assisting with process improvement.

  • Managing multiple projects with overlapping tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Providing support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.


What will help you thrive in this role?


  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required)

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred

  • Experience using digital multimeters and assembling wire harnesses, including crimping and termination techniques preferred

  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems


Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
