Job summary

The Hubbell Internship Program in Michigan is a 10 to 12-week, full-time internship designed to expose students to manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and tooling design.

You will design and revise production jigs, fixtures, and tooling, participate in root-cause analysis, and present results to local management at program end. Compensation ranges from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, based on academic standing and expected graduation date.

2027 Summer Intern: Engineering - Manufacturing

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

This intern will focus on improving manufacturing processes through the design, creation, and revision of production jigs, fixtures, and tooling. The intern will also support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in an A3 problem-solving project, conducting root cause analysis, developing countermeasures, and advancing solutions toward implementation within the manufacturing environment.

Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
