Spectrum is offering a paid, full-time 11-week internship designed to provide real-world experience in the telecommunications industry for data science and computer science students. The program runs from May 26 to August 6, 2027, and includes mentorship, professional development sessions, networking, and cross-functional projects.

• Current student pursuing a degree in Data Science or Computer Science at an accredited college/university.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must be enrolled and able to complete a bachelor’s degree as of graduation window.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team‑focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• The Service Reliability team uses data to measure customer service experience, provide insights and optimize customer outcomes across Technology and Field Operations
• Data exploration, Model building, writing and deploying code, visualizing data with Tableau

Required qualifications

• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
