Job summary

Spectrum is offering an 11-week paid internship to motivated students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related fields. The program runs May 26 through August 6, 2027, with hands-on projects, mentorship, and professional development.

You’ll work with two teams, engage in department and cohort activities, and present results at the end. Ideal candidates have a 3.0+ GPA and can travel for local events.

Qualifications

• Rising Seniors (Graduating date of December 2027 or May 2028)
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Fraud Ring Identification using Graph Analytics
• Extract, clean and engineer data to be ready for analysis
• Use of advanced visualization tools to create customer‑readable reports (ex. Tableau, PowerBI, Excel)
• Assist with communicating results and make recommendations using data visualization and presentation
• Develop effective partnerships with cross functional groups

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
  • Computer science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role‑specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team‑focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
