Job summary

EverBank, N.A. invites motivated undergraduates to join a 10-week summer internship in Jacksonville. Interns gain exposure to cross-functional groups, participate in meetings, deliver presentations, and work on meaningful projects across Marketing, Internal Audit, Finance & Accounting, Commercial Lending, and more.

The program includes leadership exposure, networking events, onboarding, and cohort activities, with opportunities to grow professionally in the banking industry.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for the Spring 2027 semester.
• Rising Junior or Senior; graduate program participants are not eligible.
• Enrollment documentation is required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing information and research materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
• Participate in meetings and take detailed notes for the team.
• Research and gather documentation as directed by colleagues.
• Attend company functions and networking events for career growth.
• Shadow multiple roles and train in a variety of tasks.
• Gain meaningful experience and exposure to the Banking industry.

Intern

At EverBank, Interns can expect to gain experience and an overall feel for the company by attending meetings, delivering presentations, exploring business-specific tasks, and working closely with cross-functional groups. Over the 10-week summer internship period, this job participates in a robust training and onboarding program that includes exposure to Bank leadership, networking events with advisors and senior leaders, meaningful projects, and cohort engagement activities. This job may have the opportunity to work in the following business areas: Marketing, Internal Audit, Finance & Accounting, Commercial Lending, Consumer & Business Banking, Risk & Compliance, and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assists in preparing information and research materials, including Powerpoint presentations.
• Participates in meetings and takes detailed notes to provide to team members.
• Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
• Attends company functions, including orientation, training programs, speaker series, and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.
• Shadows multiple roles and trains in a variety of tasks.
• Gains meaningful experience and exposure to the Banking industry.

Educational Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for the Spring 2027 semester.
• Eligible candidates must be a rising Junior or Senior. Graduate program participants are not eligible.
• Enrollment documentation is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Possess strong Excel skills (pivot tables and XLOOKUP abilities).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.

• Previous internship or professional work experience, and a demonstrated interest in a career in Finance, Commercial Lending, Credit, etc.

Program Requirements

• Available for the full 10-week program dates in 2027: June 7th - August 13th.
• Ability to work full-time, give days per week during regular business hours.
