Job summary

Spectrum offers a paid, full-time 11-week internship designed to provide real-world experience in the telecommunications field. You’ll work across two teams, with department projects accounting for about 80% of your time and structured internship experiences for the remaining 20%.

You’ll also participate in professional development sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities to grow your skills and build a professional network within Spectrum.

Qualifications

• Rising senior with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in the current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern events.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Review scope, requirements, journey maps and experiences to determine feasibility and tech needs.
• Create documentation about requirements and experiences for the customer journey.

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
  • Business Administration or related field
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• Work with the development team and fully take over customer experience projects when communications are ready to be handed off to the development team
• Review and work with the scope, project details, requirements, journey maps, and experiences provide by the journey owners to determine feasibility, vet recommendations, and validate technical needs for the work that goes into development
• Work jointly with the journey owners on creating documentation about requirements and experiences for the customer journey
• Lead the integration with the development team and all interactions while helping ensure the technical aspects of the communications are ready to hand off so development work can begin

Required Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
