Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and enforce strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position runs May–Sept, with full-time hours (minimum 6 days/70 hours per week) and a travel-friendly perk structure. Competitive weekly pay and room & board are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts, ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.

Role Summary

• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
