Job summary

Related Digital is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the finance team in evaluating and monitoring the financial performance of data center projects. You will build financial models, assist due diligence, and prepare investment materials for committees and lenders.

The program targets current undergraduates in Finance/Real Estate/Economics with strong Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and clear communication. The internship is onsite in New York and paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with target graduation date between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• Strong interest in real estate finance, infrastructure investing, or project finance.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; high proficiency with Excel.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with proactive task approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and updating financial models for prospective and active projects
• Support due diligence on capital costs, revenue assumptions, and project returns
• Assist with preparing materials for investment committee and lender presentations
• Attend cross-functional meetings with internal teams, including development, construction, and energy
• Support budget tracking, variance analysis, and research on market comparables and financing structures

Qualifications

Related's Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between December 2027-May 2029
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
• Strong interest in real estate finance, infrastructure investing, or project finance
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; high proficiency with Excel
• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
• Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Self-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment
• Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

Compensation

The hourly compensation for this position is $25-$30
