Job summary

Related is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the Digital team in engineering design, development, and implementation for data center infrastructure in Dallas. You will analyze current models to lower costs, drive efficiency and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The program focuses on training future leaders through hands-on projects, exposure to real estate and data center developments, and opportunities to engage with industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinker with strong quantitative skills and Excel proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interpret technical documents.
• Self-starter who can work independently and proactively tackle tasks.
• Comfortable navigating technical drawings and documentation.
• Able to adapt to ambiguity and dynamic project environments.
• Residency in a program with graduation timing (Dec 2027–May 2029) and GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and developing technical designs for power, cooling, and network infrastructure in data centers.

Responsibilities

The Summer Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Related Digital team with all aspects of engineering design, development, and implementation for our data center infrastructure. This role will focus analyzing the current models for our active data center projects to lower costs, and drive efficiency and performance. This position will be based in Dallas.

• Assist in the review and development of technical designs for power, cooling, and network infrastructure within data centers
• Support the research and analysis of our current projects to promote energy efficient solutions
• Assist with evaluating engineering plans to ensure alignment with industry standards and client needs
• Attend cross-functional meetings with external clients and internal teams, including construction, operations, and design
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies in data center design, AI infrastructure, and high-performance computing

Qualifications

Related's Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between December 2027-May 2029
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or other related fields)
• Strong interest in data center infrastructure and sustainability
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; high proficiency with excel
• Experience with CAD Design is a plus
• Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
• Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Comfortable working with technical documentations and drawings
• Self-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environment
• Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
