Job summary

Dean Dorton invites you to join our internship program, where you gain real-world tax and accounting experience. As a junior or senior, you’ll work 20 hours per week and receive university credit where approved.

On-site opportunities are available in Lexington, Louisville, Ft. Wright, and Raleigh. You’ll be mentored by Tax Managers and Directors, building skills, expanding classroom learning, and connecting with professionals across the firm.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Building and expanding on your classroom education.
• Preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Participating in tax, accounting, and software training.
• Mentoring with Tax Managers and Directors to learn best practices and workplace skills.
