Job summary

Design Workshop is seeking energetic students for its in-person 2027 Spring Internship Program in Aspen and Denver. The internship offers hands-on experience in a creative design environment with project research, site visits, sketching, computer production, design reviews, and marketing proposal assistance.

Internship begins January 2027 and runs through May 2027, with potential extension through August 2027.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in graphic, AutoCAD, analysis, and digital production skills.
• Experience with Adobe Suite and 3-D modeling (3-D Max and/or SketchUp).
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate for the internship.

Overview

Design Workshop is looking for energetic and motivated students to join our in-person 2027 Spring Internship Program. During this spring semester program, participants will experience a dynamic, creative design environent. These studios have openings for internships: Aspen and Denver.

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for: Students with exceptional graphic, AutoCAD, analysis, and digital production skills with proficiency in Adobe Suite and 3-D modeling (3-D Max and/or SketchUp). A positive attitude and open mind are a must. The ability to work in-studio is a must.

Qualifications

Who can apply: We will accept applications from recent graduates and students pursuing degrees in landscape architecture, urban design, or planning. Those with dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design or planning are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to relocate for the internship.

The program begins in January and continues through May 2027 with the possibility to extend through August 2027. Application deadline is September 27, 2026.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $22-$24 per hour, based on experience. This position is not benefits eligible. Design Workshop is an EEO employer.
