The purpose of the Sales internship is to provide meaningful, hands‑on professional experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Abbott hires students majoring in a range of areas, including marketing, sales, and business, based on business need. Ideal candidates combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem‑solving abilities. Inside Sales and Field Sales internship trains and develops future sales professionals within the Cancer Diagnostics division through cross‑functional project work and direct customer and stakeholder interactions. Interns build the foundational skills needed for a career in healthcare sales, choosing a track in either commercial strategy or field‑based sales.

Inside Sales track location: Onsite in Madison, WI at Cancer Diagnostics Headquarters location
Field Sales track locations: Atlanta, Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio-PA, Detroit. Must be in or willing to relocated to the above locations
The base pay for this position is $16.85 – $33.75/hour In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
