Job summary

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders for materials and components, expediting orders as needed, and verifying delivery dates
• Support new process implementation and process improvement by developing procedures and performing problem analyses
• Manage inventory and reorder points of materials based on manufacturing schedules
• Prepare reports and communications as requested
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean-up
• Stage orders, create stockroom pick lists, order tools, and schedule materials
• Utilize capacity and lead time information to assure schedule compliance for each manufacturing department
• Analyze material demand and part shortage lists to determine impact to schedules and capacity
• Assist supervisors with disposition of rejected material and bottleneck analysis
• Maintain data records within planning systems and establish production schedules for assigned work area
