Job summary

Constellation Energy Corporation is seeking highly motivated Engineering students for Power Plant Engineering Internships in Londonderry, NH (Granite Ridge). The 10-week paid program runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027, with projects designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience under supervision and mentorship.

Interns will support plant data systems, inspections, documentation, and maintenance tasks while developing engineering skills and industry exposure in a live power plant

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field at an accredited college or university.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States now and in the future for any company.
• Willingness to work outdoors, in field locations, in a hands-on environment.
• Willingness to adhere to plant safety standards, procedures, and practices.
• Good comprehension of basic engineering practices.
• Good problem solving and analytical ability.
• Strong computer skills especially in the use of spreadsheet and word processing programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organization skills and attention to details are essential
• Must be flexible and able to work harmoniously with others in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to self-start and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and priorities.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing plant data systems to access equipment performance and reliability
• Perform equipment inspections
• Updating maintenance documentation and work management system
• Updating and modifying plant drawings and equipment lists
• Assist with predictive maintenance data recording and analysis
• Assist plant staff with engineering projects and contract management
• Assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting while under direct supervision by a qualified Constellation Employee.
• Assist with the requisition of spare parts inventory for plant equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned while under the direct supervision of a Constellation employee.
• Report to Plant Engineer and take day-to-day instructions, both written and verbal, from the Plant Operator, Operations Manager, and Maintenance Manager.
• Assist Plant shift operations including local starting and stopping of equipment
• Read and record gauges when required
• Maintaining shift operation logs and records when required

We are currently seeking highly motivated Engineering students for Power Plant Engineering Internships for 2027 to work in person at our location in Londonberry, NH – Granite Ridge. These paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks starting June 7th, 2027 through August 13th, 2027. Interns will work on specific projects, designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.
