Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. invites motivated students to an on-site internship in the Northeast region, offering exposure to branch operations and leadership.

You’ll work with branch leadership across sales, customer service, and warehouse functions to gain a comprehensive view of the business. This program targets business-related majors and provides a structured, hands-on experience with a potential pathway to full-time management trainee roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and expected to graduate within two semesters after internship.
• Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks between May and August.
• Demonstrated involvement in work, student organizations, athletics, leadership, or other team-based activities.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Interest in distribution, operations, sales, leadership, or management.
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment, including lifting materials up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Management, or a related field.
• Expected to graduate within two semesters following completion of the internship.
• Available to work full‑time for 10–12 weeks between May and August.

Where You’ll Work

This is an on‑site internship based at one of our branch locations in the Northeast Region. You’ll spend time working with branch leadership, sales, customer service, and warehouse operations to get a well‑rounded view of the business. Where This Internship Can Take You

This internship is designed for students who want more than a summer job. You’ll get real exposure to branch operations and leadership while exploring whether a career in distribution is the right fit for you. Strong performers may be considered for our full‑time Management Trainee (MIT) Program following graduation.

This internship offers a standardized base pay of $20 per hour. SRS/Heritage considers multiple factors including job related knowledge, skillset and experience when determining the final salary.
