Role Overview:

New York Life Direct is the industry leader in direct‑to‑consumer life insurance, delivering streamlined coverage directly to individuals while bypassing traditional agent models. Beginning in June and ending in August, this 10‑week summer internship program provides hands‑on exposure and real‑world experience within the Finance organization supporting NYL Direct. Interns will work closely with finance professionals to support financial reporting, analysis, and operational excellence initiatives that are critical to the business. This hybrid role includes in‑office collaboration in our Tampa office (Tuesday–Thursday) and offers meaningful interaction with senior leaders, cross‑functional partners, and fellow interns.

What You’ll Do:

As a NYL Direct Finance Intern, you will be fully integrated into the team’s day‑to‑day operations and contribute to work that directly supports financial reporting, controls, and decision‑making. This is a true immersion into corporate finance and accounting within one of the most trusted and enduring organizations in the industry.

During the summer, you will:

Actualbasesalary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
