What you’ll do
Our 10-week paid internship will provide you with the foundation on how to lead, execute, and optimize strategic marketing initiatives that connect with target audiences. You'll learn how to effectively leverage market data and insights to enhance customer experiences and inform strategic marketing decisions to drive business growth.
You will receive accelerated learning and skill development through a mix of on-the-job training, mentorship, and a community of peers and advisors.
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll:
Get hands‑on experience collaborating cross‑functionally on projects that impact the business, such as:
Developing strategic marketing plans, defining goals, identifying target segments, monitoring trends, coordinating resources, reviewing and adjusting plans
Plan, execute, and manage marketing projects & multi‑channel campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes
Establish metrics and KPIs, track performance, analyze data, and optimize marketing strategies
Work with creative and content professionals to develop compelling marketing creative and communications that connect with and engage audiences
Anticipate and quickly adapt to changing market conditions, technologies (e.g., AI), and customer preferences
Develop product, technical, and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives
Identify and address challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement
Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort‑strengthening activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops
Complete a Marketing Capstone project with other MACX Marketing interns and present to senior executives

We’re looking for talent with demonstrated leadership capabilities, a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
Basic qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation within Fall/Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
Some coursework in Marketing / Advertising, Business Administration / Management, Communications / Public Relations, Economics, Psychology / Sociology, Digital Media / Analytics, Management Information Systems (or similar), and/or the ability to apply knowledge in those areas to understanding the overall financial services business environment
Ability to start internship program on June 7, 2027
Preferred qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well‑developed digital skills
Acute attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
Comfort working equally well in a team environment and independently, exhibiting initiative, ownership, and flexibility
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Copilot and AI a plus
Working model and hours:
This role is hybrid. Interns in a hybrid role spend three plus days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
Interns work approximately 40-hours each week during the internship.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $21.25 - $28.32
