Job summary

U.S. Bank is offering a 10-week Experience Design Internship designed to build foundational experience design skills through hands-on project work, mentorship, and peer support. You’ll participate in a hybrid model with about 60% on-site time and 40 hours per week during the internship.

Selected candidates will gain exposure to senior leadership, hands-on design projects, and potential for a full-time rotational program after graduation, while leveraging tools like Figma, Adobe XD and Sketch.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
  • Basic understanding of digital communication and design principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting
  • Interest in web and app design
  • Prioritizes leveraging data, AI, and technology solutions to improve business processes and decision‑making
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Flexibility to work within a multi‑discipline team and receive dynamic on‑the‑job training
  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Microsoft apps such as Figma, Adobe XD and/or Sketch

What you’ll do

You’ll help create meaningful, human-centered experiences that bring humanity to financial products and services. Design plays a vital role in shaping the products and services we deliver to our customers. Throughout our 10-week paid internship, you’ll build foundational experience design skills through hands‑on project work, accelerated learning, mentorship, and a supportive community of peers and advisors.

Who we’re looking for

Basic qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028

    Working model and hours

    This role follows U.S. Bank's hybrid work model, with interns expected to work from a U.S. Bank location at least 60% of the time and flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the time. Interns work approximately 40 hours per week during the internship.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.     Pay Range: $21.25 - $28.32
