Textron Specialized Vehicles seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer in Augusta, GA. You will plan shop layouts, optimize material flow, and support new production processes to improve plant capacity.
You will develop safe work methods, establish time standards, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement Engineering Change Notices, ensuring producibility and cost effectiveness. Bachelor’s in Engineering required; 0–2 years experience preferred.

Plan and implement shop layouts to improve material flow and increase plant capacity and coordinate placement of new equipment to optimize existing shop capacities and new production processes.
Develop and implement efficient and safe work methods, lean material process flows, and ensure equipment and tooling for products is efficient and cost effective.
Provide training, written instructions, and standard work related to products to manufacturing personnel for critical processes to develop and maintain process capability.
Establish time standards by use of approved Industrial engineering practices for accurate measurement of work performed and facilitate the appropriate approvals to implement into costing system.
Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate new methods of enhancing the product.
Coordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders.
Process and implement Engineering Change Notices for products to ensure the design is producible as drawn, methods are defined via routing, and that all time standards, process plans, work plans, and tool orders are defined appropriately.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience required
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), SAP
