Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an IT internship in Denver to help safeguard businesses by optimizing value from tech investments. You will work with external clients, handling end-user requests and resolving hardware/software issues, migrations, upgrades, and security audits, while participating in research and introducing new technologies.

You’ll join a rotational, on-call team and gain client-facing experience early in your career. This role is non-exempt and may require travel.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
  • Information Technology (IT) and/or engineering knowledge/experience is a plus.
  • Some experience with service desk remediation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a variety of external clients and their technologies to provide technical support to ensure clients' business operations run without interruption.
  • Identify and resolve problems related to PC and server hardware and software, mobile devices, AV equipment, network services and any other technical issues that may arise for external clients.
  • Receive, prioritize, document and resolve end-user requests.
  • Project work including migrations, upgrades, security audits, as well as research and implement new technologies.
  • Support clients in a rotational, on-call environment.

Your role.

No busy work here. As an intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry level staff. You’ll safeguard businesses through optimizing the value received from tech investments. Your experience will include, but will not be limited to:



  • Work with a variety of external clients and their technologies to provide technical support to ensure clients' business operations run without interruption

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $33.00 - $36.00
