Job summary

JBS Foods is offering a 10-week summer internship in Denver to help identify operational gaps and improve process efficiency within our maintenance team. You will learn from experienced professionals, shadow training programs, and work on a project related to maintenance issues.

The program emphasizes safety, hands-on experience, and exposure to various areas of our production process, with mentorship from leadership and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Will provide support to the maintenance team.
• Help the team that engages in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
• May help establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
• Learn from the team that maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
• Shadow training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair equipment programs and procedures.
• Complete and present a project related to issues within the maintenance department.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation:

-$22/hour with $2,500 relocation stipend
