Raymond James is launching an Accelerated Development Program in Information Technology aimed at building a solid foundation in software development. This full-time, hybrid program provides mentored learning, hands-on projects, and development workshops across Front-End, Back-End, Database, RPA, COBOL, QA, Cloud, and AI-enabled tooling.

Participants will gain exposure to AI-enabled development, data-driven design, and responsible use of AI within a financial services context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• At least 3 months of software development experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship required).

Responsibilities

• Specified projects and assignments, which may vary based on team alignment.
• Operates standard office equipment and is able to use required software applications.
• Explores and applies approved AI-enabled development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, research, and problem-solving.
• Assists with identifying opportunities to integrate automation, AI, or data-driven capabilities into technology solutions and business processes.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

The Application Developmentprogram trackruns fortwelvemonths. Learna development discipline suchasFront-End, Back-End, Database, Robotic Process Automation (RPA),COBOL,Software Quality Management, Cloud technologies, or AI-enabled development toolsto create innovative solutions that have a direct influence on the lives of advisors, theirclients,and associatesaround the globe. Participants will also gain exposure to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence-enabled development tools, automation, and data-driven solution design, while learning how to apply these tools responsibly within a financial services technology environment. Upon completion of the program, work will continue within the assigned discipline area.

• Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
