Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of material duties within the Materials department.
• Support the creation of material systems and procedures.
• Apply Kautex policies and procedures to the supplier base.
• Develop and maintain an open liaison with suppliers and internal customers.
• Support the continuous quality improvement of material processes.
• Capture lessons learned for future processes.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned (open issues, lessons learned, after-action review data).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing University Degree in materials, supply chain, or industrial engineering
• Preference for candidates with knowledge in materials science
• Knowledge of material functions
• Automotive related experience preferred
