As an intern with Textron, you’ll gain hands‑on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You’ll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.
Assist with the coordination of a variety of functions and/or requirements related to the aftermarket supply chain.
Assist with the process improvement opportunities within the parts distribution network.
Support the team to provide timely solutions for issues, while considering the effect on the process value-stream.
Coordinate regularly with the organization’s stakeholders, including but not limited to:
Information Technology (infrastructure and programming)
Corporate Global Logistics Team
Facility Maintenance
Internal Customers
External Customers
Regulatory Compliance Team
Service Providers
Assist the team in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in:
Business Management
Supply Chain
Aircraft Management
Other related field
Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good computer skills
Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
