Textron Aviation is offering a 2027 internship for an Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineer with hands-on design and testing exposure. You will contribute to capturing requirements, development, and certification of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Preferred candidates are enrolled in a BS Engineering program (Electrical/Computer/Tech) with CAD and programming exposure, and strong written communication.
As an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You'll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways - working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.
Gain valuable engineering experience in the area of design requirements including capture, design, validation,
troubleshooting, and certification of aircraft avionic and electrical systems. Assist in the development and evaluation of
crucial systems on Textron Aviation Products.
Prefer completion of 60 hours while currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Technology).
Minor or relevant coursework in Technical Writing, Business Administration, or Computer Programming is beneficial
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
