Job summary

Plante Moran seeks an accounting intern in Massachusetts. You will be treated like our entry-level staff, assisting with basic analysis, reporting and clerical duties to support financial health for organizations of all sizes.

You will work on transactional accounting and with the Firm's Financial Statement package, gaining exposure to full cycle accounting alongside seasoned accountants. This is an in-person internship with travel possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• Strong performer and high achiever based on resume and involvement on campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic analysis and reporting.
• Engage in clerical duties and support full cycle accounting tasks.
• Learn from experienced accountants while supporting transactional accounting and the Financial Statement package.

Education

Your role.

No busy work here. As an intern, you'll be treated just like our entry level staff. You'll help instill confidence in organizations large and small by assuring their financial health.

Interns within this team work on both transactional accounting and with the Firm's Financial Statement package. This Intern will be responsible for basic analysis, reporting and some clerical duties. This experience provides an opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced accountants who do full cycle accounting.

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
