Job summary

Textron ATAC in Fort Worth, TX invites a 2027 Intern - Financial Analyst to gain hands-on experience in forecasting, EACs, and budgeting on real programs. You will support monthly budgets, cost projections, and Earned Value reporting as part of the program finance team.

You'll develop analytical skills, learn to establish baselines and EACs using the Earned Value tool (MPM), and communicate insights to management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Less than 2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis, maintain forecasts, and provide Estimate at Completion (EACs) for Textron Systems.
• Participate in projects related to monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates.
• Maintain program measurement control systems.
• Create and maintain standard financial reports for the finance team and other functions.
• Provide day-to-day support to the program finance team.
• Establish baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (MPM).
• Analyze program trend data for ETC validity checks.
• Provide real-time information to management regarding EAC swings and program updates.

A Day in the Life of a Financial Analyst Intern:

Conduct analysis, maintain forecasts, and provide Estimate at Completion (EACs) for Textron Systems.

Participate in projects relating to monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various Earned Value reports.

Maintain program measurement control systems.

Create and maintain standard financial reports for the finance team and other functions within the business.
