Northrop Grumman is seeking Hardware Electronics Interns for our Mission Systems sector in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role involves researching, designing, and testing electronic equipment and systems, including sensors, antennas, transmitters, receivers, and related analog/digital components.

You must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027 in an approved STEM program, with coursework in electronics, RF, PCB, and HDL. U.S.

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027 pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment, systems, and products such as circuitry components, sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, and analog/digital computers.
  • Contribute to the MSTS division projects in Rolling Meadows, IL and support design reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet mission-driven requirements.
