Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a graduate-level intern to collaborate with world-class researchers and engineers to push state-of-the-art generative models and GenAI efficiency.

As part of a 13–16 week internship in 2027, you will contribute to research, develop techniques, and work toward publishing or patenting your findings, with the team supporting your growth.

We are looking for interns who are excited about pushing the state of the art technology and research in large generative models, GenAI efficiency, personalization, 3D & 4D generation and understanding, visual-language models, large scale data, and inference frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a graduate program (PhD preferred) in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Graduating no sooner than May 2027
• Experience conducting academic research and applying technical concepts to real‑world problems
• Strong academic performance in technical coursework
• Clear vision for how research initiatives could contribute to future innovation at Snap
• Must be able to work in office for a 13-16 week internship in 2027

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong publication records in world’s top venues in our field: CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SIGGRAPH and similar venues.
• Previous experience with large generative models: large scale training and tuning, large scale data, large scale inference, model post‑training, model efficiency.
• A passion for research and Snap Inc. products.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$121,000 annually.

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $77,000-$115,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $69,000-$103,000 annually.
