Snap Inc. is seeking graduate students for an internship focused on advancing large generative models, GenAI efficiency, and 3D/4D generation. You will work with world-class researchers and engineers to develop technology that could shape Snap products.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration, with an 80% in-office expectation, and opportunities to publish or patent your work. The internship supports growth in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

We are looking for interns who are excited about pushing the state of the art technology and research in large generative models, GenAI efficiency, personalization, 3D & 4D generation and understanding, visual‑language models, large scale data, and inference frameworks. At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. To reflect this, we practice a “default together” approach and expect our team members to work in an office at least 80% of the time (an average of 4 days per week).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a graduate program (PhD preferred) in a technical field, such as Computer Science,

• Clear vision for how research initiatives could contribute to future innovation at Snap

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong publication records in world’s top venues in our field: CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SIGGRAPH and similar venues.
• Previous experience with large generative models: large scale training and tuning, large scale data, large scale inference, model post‑training, model efficiency.
• A passion for research and Snap Inc. products.

Compensation:

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$121,000 annually.
• Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $77,000-$115,000 annually.
• Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $69,000-$103,000 annually.
