Job summary

MSD Malaysia offers a Future Talent Program internship lasting up to 12 weeks with projects across our Global Support Division. The program provides development opportunities and exposes you to our efforts in promoting safe, high-quality maternity care and health online engagement.

Ideal candidates have completed at least two years of college education, experience in public health or related fields, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in public health, international development, public policy, and/or corporate responsibility.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills with a high degree of diplomacy and teamwork needed.
• Must be able to work collaboratively while also exercising independent, good judgment with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk research around key topics within global health which could include quality improvement, health systems strengthening, patient and/or provider-focused solutions, etc.
• Conduct targeted analysis on a particular topic or geography.
• General support for meeting preparations with internal and external stakeholders, communication, and reporting.
• Draft/review routine program reports; develop talking points, web site content and presentations based on inputs from grantees and collaborators.
• Review grantee reports and support synthesis of impact.
• Participate in partner meetings and discussions as well as opportunistic conferences and events during the 12-week period.

Programmatic Support

Salary range: The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 FTP2027 GSF2027
