Responsibilities

  • Apply problem-solving, collaboration, and behavioral analysis skills in a fast-paced environment to support Global Security Group efforts.
  • Monitor and support ongoing investigations and threats in the North America region, including financial integrity/fraud and workplace violence matters.
  • Conduct basic research on proposed mergers and acquisitions, supporting security integration teams.
  • Familiarize with enterprise tools used by Global Security (Case Management, Badge tracking, Video Surveillance, Guest registration, Watch List).
  • Interact with Global Security Center of Excellence and other functions; liaise with Legal, HR, Site Security, and Health Services.
  • Assist in creating training and education programs; support ongoing cases per policies.

Job Description The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Support Function Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. As our company continues to increase its global footprint and accessibility to customers and patients, the Global Security Group (GSG) continues to take prudent measures to protect and secure our company and our people, products, trade secrets, intellectual property, reputation, and operations on a global scale. In doing so, GSG protects The Company from a variety of hazards with the goal of providing a competitive advantage by minimizing the impact of security risks and maximizing the opportunity for the Company to do business in a safe and effective manner. As an intern within our company's Global Security Group’s North America Regional Investigations team, you will play a vital role in helping manage and implement the strategic plan of protecting our company’s employees, facilities, and products. This group encompasses investigations regarding escalated matters within North America, including Workplace Violence matters, Financial Integrity/Fraud matters, as well as Merger and Acquisition security integration and coordination matters. You will work closely within these programs providing requested support.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply problem-solving, collaboration, and behavioral analysis skills in a fast-paced environment to support the Global Security Group efforts.
  • Monitor and support ongoing investigations and emerging issues and threats pertaining to escalated matters in the North America region, which includes financial integrity and fraud matters, workplace violence matters and other prioritized investigations.
  • Conduct basic research on proposed mergers and acquisitions, providing documentation and support to the security integration team.
  • Gain familiarization with the enterprise tools used throughout Global Security: including the Case Management System, Badge identification and tracking system, Video Surveillance System, Guest registration and the Global Security Watch List System.
  • Interaction with the Global Security Physical Security Center of Excellence as well as additional Global Security functions.
  • Liaison with various stakeholders throughout the organization include Legal, Human Resources, Site Security, and Health Services.
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as needed within the various North American Regional programs.
  • Identification and familiarization with the different types of Workplace Violence matters and how the investigative team responds to urgent, sensitive matters across the Company.
  • Assist in creating training and education programs for various audiences.
  • Support ongoing cases, ensuring timely action is taken, per policies, to adequately mitigate, resolve, or elevate issues.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, with preferred concentration in: Data Analytics, Criminology/Law Enforcement/Security, Behavioral Sciences/Psychology/Sociology, or Business.
  • Students who have completed at least two years of university studies, toward their degree.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical and problem-solving abilities and people skills that include flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment.

Availability:

Candidates must be able to commit to full-time employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning Summer 2027. Please note that this position may be closed before the posted end date or may remain open longer, at the discretion of the company.

Salary range:

The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 FTP2027 GSF2027
