Job summary

Qualifications

Position Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field.
  • Enthusiastic about a future in consulting forestry.
  • Previous experience in forest inventory is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with GIS/GPS software and tools is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and managers.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable working in various outdoor environments.

This internship is a roaming/traveling internship. The intern will be based out of AFM’s Spokane, WA office and will travel regularly throughout the summer to Wenatchee, WA; Boise, ID; and locations throughout Eastern Oregon. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and working in a variety of field locations and outdoor environments.
