Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking an entry-level Automation Engineer with a technical degree to design and implement building automation and electrical control systems. You will interface with facility equipment and sensors, architect custom solutions, and deliver real-time data and actionable insights to clients.

You will collaborate with engineers and designers, develop control sequences, and grow toward leading a team, supported by ongoing training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field related to engineering or systems.

• Relevant co-op experience.

Responsibilities

Entry Level Position: College Graduate - 2 years experience

• Design and develop building automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems that will interface with facility & building management manufacturing equipment and sensors
• Architect custom solutions using the appropriate technologies from control databases to AI to User Interface tools.
• Provide our clients with real-time data, and actionable information about their facilities
• Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards
• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners and clients
• Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions.

Pertinent Experience:

• Relevant Co-op experience
• Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience
• Familiarity with web development technologies
• Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo,OSIsoft, etc.)

• Competitive Base Salary: $80,000-$82,000, depending on experience
