Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies in Tempe, AZ is seeking an entry-level engineer (college graduate to 2 years) to design, implement, and configure building automation systems and electrical controls for client facilities.

You will work with engineers to develop custom solutions, gain exposure to PLC/DCS/DDC technologies, and grow toward leading a project team while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Entry Level Position: College Graduate to 2 years experience

RoviSys Building Technologies offers a broad opportunity to grow your career with any of the following duties:

• Design and develop building automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems that will interface with facility & building management manufacturing equipment and sensors
• Architect custom solutions using the appropriate technologies from control databases to AI to User Interface tools.
• Provide our clients with real-time data, and actionable information about their facilities
• Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards
• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners and clients
• Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

Pertinent Experience:

• Relevant Co-op experience
• Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience
• Familiarity with web development technologies
• Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo,OSIsoft, etc.)
