Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies in Ann Arbor, MI seeks an entry-level engineer fresh from college to design, implement and configure building automation systems. You will collaborate with engineers to develop control solutions interfacing with facility equipment and sensors, delivering real-time data and actionable insights for clients.

You will grow into a lead role over time, participating in training and certifications while contributing to projects across manufacturing and facility management.

Responsibilities

As a RoviSys Building Technologies employee, you will use the latest control and automation technologies as we provide innovative solutions for our clients. You will design, implement, and configure building automation systems, and/or write custom solutions. We support our customers onsite and from our offices, located across the globe. • Design and develop building automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems that will interface with facility & building management manufacturing equipment and sensors
• Architect custom solutions using the appropriate technologies from control databases to AI to User Interface tools.
• Provide our clients with real-time data, and actionable information about their facilities
• Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards
• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners and clients
• Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions.

Pertinent Experience:

• Relevant Co-op experience
• Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience
• Familiarity with web development technologies
• Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo,OSIsoft, etc.)

• Competitive Base Salary:$80,000-$82,000, depending on experience
