Job summary

Eagle’s Nest Camp in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina seeks seasonal Health Hut medical staff to provide daily care and First-Aid to campers and staff.

On duty, you will administer care, prepare medications for trips, update medical logs on CampDoc, and communicate with parents and physicians.

On-campus housing, meals, and weekly days off are provided; CPR certification and an active medical license (RN/PA/MD) are required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• CPR certification and active medical license.
• Must be able to practice in NC with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Our Health Hut medical staff are responsible for providing daily care and First-Aid to approximately 140 campers and 60 staff. While on duty, our medical team members are available and able to serve our camp community with the support of our administration and full-time camp staff. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Administering care and First-Aid to injured/ill campers
• Administering medication and preparing medications for overnight or off-campus trips
• Updating medical logs as necessary on our CampDoc online platform
• Communicating with parents and physicians
• Being available to serve whenever a need arises.

Required Qualifications

At least 21 years old, CPR and any related medical licence (RN, PA, MD, etc.), if licensed outside of NC must be able to practice in NC, clean driving record
