Job summary

Galaxy Digital Inc. in New York City offers a 9-week Digital Infrastructure Intern program.

You will work on real blockchain infrastructure projects, collaborate across Staking, DeFi, Tokenization, Edge, and GK8 teams, and present outcomes to leaders at summer’s end. This on-site internship provides hands-on experience, professional development, networking with senior leaders, and exposure to AI-enabled research tools.

About the Galaxy Summer Internship Program

The Galaxy NYC Summer Internship Program is an immersive, nine-week experience taking place on-site in our New York HQ office. During the nine weeks, you will gain hands-on, practical work experience on our Digital Infrastructure team, working on real products and problems alongside the people building them. In addition to learning on the job, Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming, social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders.

Program Dates :

June 7th – August 6th, 2027

What You'll Do:

• Become one of Galaxy’s technical and strategic experts on blockchain infrastructure and on-chain protocols, including Staking, DeFi and Tokenization.
• Work across Galaxy’s infrastructure business, partnering with the Staking, DeFi, Tokenization, Edge, and GK8 teams.
• Own a Digital Infrastructure scoped project from start to finish and present results to the team at the end of the summer.
• Support the development of a blockchain infrastructure-focused operating business with a full suite of products, with a focus on creating net new products and processes.
• Use data and AI-assisted tooling to speed up research, analysis and prototyping.
• Conduct and summarize core research findings and propose new product suites.

What We're Looking For:

• Interest in and knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem
• Critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong emotional intelligence and a comfort level communicating with others
• Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit
• Self-directed, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative workflow
• Comfort working across multiple workstreams and teams, in a whitespace environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated interest in building on-chain personal projects in areas like:
• DeFi
• Prop AMMs
• Institutional custody
• Staking, validators, and node infrastructure
• Strongly preferred:
• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, economics or engineering
• Strong understanding of AI and agentic workflows
• Data analysis skills: Python, SQL

Interns are classified as non-exempt employees and will be paid a rate of $55/hr.
