Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Data and AI Solutions Summer Intern to contribute to the Fixed Income data/AI transformation. You will join a team shipping production models, building data assets, and delivering analytics for FI trading and portfolio management.
You'll work with leaders, data scientists, and quants to advance key initiatives, leveraging Python, SQL, and Databricks in a hybrid Pittsburgh setting (4 days in office, 1 remote) throughout the 37.5-hour week.

This internship sits inside the Fixed Income Data and AI transformation initiative. The intern will help build production-grade data assets, analytics, and AI/ML tools that directly support FI trading, research, and Portfolio Management. Work alongside the Director of FI Data and AI Solutions, citizen developers, quants, and data scientists to advance real deliverables tied to CIO defined initiatives, while applying your quantitative and analytical skills to solve real investment problems. Develop the tools that move Fixed Income forward, and build your foundation in Investment Management. You'll join a team shipping production models, driving process efficiency, and putting the latest data and AI tools to work.
