Job summary

Associated Bank offers a 12-week Treasury internship providing hands-on experience across core functions, mentorship from leaders, and exposure to our culture and mission. The program emphasizes real-world skills and structured development within a supportive environment.

You will participate in structured activities, perform financial analyses, and collaborate with Treasury professionals on liquidity management, ALM, and risk initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at internship start date.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, productivity, or analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, and professional development.
  • Support Treasury team through financial analysis and project work.
  • Assist with risk management initiatives, including interest rate risk analysis and ALM activities.
  • Support liquidity management activities and portfolio reporting.
  • Complete project-based analysis and research for Treasury needs.
  • Collaborate with Treasury professionals and leaders across liquidity, investments and risk.
  • Attend meetings and trainings to gain exposure to Treasury functions and enterprise decisions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities.
  • Support the Treasury team through financial analysis and analytical project work supporting core Treasury functions.
  • Assist with risk management initiatives, including interest rate risk analysis and asset liability management (ALM) activities.
  • Support liquidity management activities and investment portfolio reporting.
  • Complete project-based analysis and research while contributing to ongoing Treasury business needs.
  • Collaborate with Treasury professionals, analysts, and leaders supporting liquidity management, investments, asset liability management, and risk management activities.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and team discussions to gain exposure to multiple Treasury functions and enterprise-wide financial decision-making.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date; must not have graduated prior to internship start date.

Preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, productivity, or analysis.
