Job summary

Associated Bank offers a year‑round internship that combines full‑time summer work with part‑time academic‑year commitments. The program emphasizes gaining real‑world audit experience within Wealth Management and includes orientation, workshops, and mentorship across the organization.

You will perform audit testing, document results, and learn Internal Audit risk and controls, collaborating with team members and stakeholders while developing specialized Wealth Management audit knowledge.

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities.
• Perform audit testing and assist with fieldwork for the Wealth Management Audit Practice Group.
• Document audit testing results and support the development of audit conclusions.
• Support Wealth Management audit assignments while developing an understanding of Internal Audit methodology, risk, and controls.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management Audit team members, Audit Managers, Internal Audit leadership, and Wealth Management audit stakeholders throughout audit activities.
• Take ownership of assigned testing and audit support activities while communicating priorities, schedules, and progress with the team.
• Build specialized Wealth Management audit knowledge and progressively develop skills aligned with future Auditor I opportunities.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Required Bachelor’s Degree student with sophomore, junior or senior standing at the time of internship start date; must not have graduated prior to internship start date.
• Preferred Critical thinking and attention to detail. Time management and strong organizational skills. Communication.

Pay Transparency

The pay range represents anticipated base pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, work location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. For certain positions, total compensation may also include incentive, commission, or bonus opportunities not reflected in the posted base pay range. $17.00 - $26.71 per hour
