The pilot plant serves as a critical bridge between product development and full-scale manufacturing, where new products, processes, and equipment are tested before commercial launch. As a Pilot Plant Engineering Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience supporting pilot plant operations and engineering projects. Working alongside engineers, operators, and cross-functional partners, you will contribute to equipment commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting, documentation, and process improvement activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to see how new products move from development into manufacturing while gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced engineering environment. **Key Responsibilities*** Support equipment commissioning, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities within the pilot plant.* Assist with technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, qualification protocols, and project reports.* Participate in pilot plant manufacturing activities, data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.* Collaborate with engineers, operators, product development teams, quality partners, and external vendors to support project objectives. **Essential Qualifications*** Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Interest in manufacturing, engineering operations, equipment, or process development.* Effective communication and collaboration skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.* Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment. **Preferred Qualifications*** Exposure to manufacturing, laboratory, pilot plant, or engineering environments through coursework, projects, internships, or co-op experience.* Familiarity with equipment operation, troubleshooting, technical documentation, or process improvement activities.**Eligibility and Program Requirements:*** **This internship requires working at the designated location.
