Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op to support our Integrated Substation Solutions team in a January–August timeframe. You will assist in design, verification, and documentation while collaborating across design, manufacturing and engineering groups.

The role emphasizes 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and hands-on mechanical work, with opportunities to contribute to manufacturing support and design changes.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field; completed 4+ semesters preferred.
  • Experience using 3D modeling software (Creo preferred), 2D AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledgeable in Engineering Mechanics, Strengths of Materials, Welding, and other manufacturing processes.
  • Must be a team player, creative, and have strong hands-on mechanical knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

Responsibilities

  • Create standard drawings.

Systems Control is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op to become a part of our Integrated Substation Solutions team - January-May 2026. As a Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op, you will support Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering Teams in our world-class facility.
