Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Analyst for an internship in our Business Development & Capture organization. This position is located at our Baltimore facility, with potential hybrid arrangements.

The qualified candidate will support BD activities, analyze data, and help create training materials and templates for executive reviews. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student and will be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations or related degree.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of activities in support of business development, capture or for a specific project/business.
• Gathering, collecting, recording, tracking and verifying data from multiple sources; developing metrics/profiles/market trends.
• Create training material for new capture classes and assist in execution of new business development initiatives.
• Create templates for critical executive reviews (Gate reviews, independent assessments, etc.).
• Use BD tools (SalesForce), open-source data, AI and Windows Office to research and document key information and create reports.
• Support executive level presentations and dashboards; assist in process improvement and digital transformation efforts.
• Role can be hybrid.

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Analyst for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Baltimore, MD. May also consider candidates in Fairfax, VA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Development & Capture organization.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of activities in support of business development, capture or for a specific project/business.
• Gathering, collecting, recording, tracking and verifying, and synthesizing data and information from multiple sources. Developing metrics/profiles/market trends.
• Helping to create training material in association with new capture classes and execution of new business development initiatives
• Helping to create templates for critical executive reviews (Gate reviews, independent assessments, etc.)
• Ability to use BD tools (SalesForce), open-source data, AI and Windows Office Suite to help research and document key information and create reports
• Supporting executive level presentations and dashboards using a variety of tools
• Supporting process improvement and digital transformation efforts
• This role can be a hybrid work schedule

Basic Qualifications

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027
• Be majoring in Business Administrative, Marketing, Operations or other related degree
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Experience and/or technical aptitude in skills and knowledge applicable to the key responsibilities including:
• data analysis; business/financial planning; data visualization
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Intern Pay Range

• Bachelor’s: $18.25 to $33.00 per hour
• Master’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
