Job summary
BNY is seeking high‑potential undergraduates for the 2027 Summer Internship Program – Engineering (Production Services). You will support production systems in a globally distributed, always-on environment, applying AI tools to monitor health, analyze trends, and drive process improvements.
The role emphasizes partnering with cross-functional teams, learning the full software development lifecycle, and contributing to operational excellence within a leading financial services institution.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
- Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and technology platforms in a complex enterprise environment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute work, resolve issues, and support both short-term fixes and long-term improvements.
- Leverage AI and other toolsets to monitor production health, analyze trends and performance data, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Document procedures, configurations, and support activities while building knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
