Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Augusta, Georgia is seeking an entry-level procurement/ supplier coordinator to support supplier relationships, cost reductions, and material sourcing for new product launches. The role offers a full-time, on-site schedule in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work with materials and quality teams to address delivery and quality issues, participate in supplier transitions, and use lean principles to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Full-time position based in Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships and act as primary contact for communications.
• Identify and implement supplier cost reductions.
• Assist in selecting and managing new and current suppliers.
• Support materials and quality teams to address supplier delivery and quality issues.
• Source materials for new product launches and product model changes.
• Support the supplier transition process by reallocating work between external suppliers and in-house production.
• Coordinate RFQ packages with the supply base to ensure premium pricing for materials.
• Manage materials projects using problem solving techniques and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
