Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for an Associate Obsolescence Engineer or Obsolescence Engineer. to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
This position will be supporting the Product Support organization as an individual contributor on the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) team.
The candidate must have excellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills as they work with teams of engineers, logisticians, buyers, etc. in pursuing recommendations for resolution of DMSMS issues. Candidate will help coordinate activities to ensure solutions are in place to minimize or prevent impacts to current contracts. Key aspects of the position include working effectively with Procurement/ Subcontracts, Integrated Product Teams, functional organizations, external customers and Program Management to identify, analyze, address, and resolve DMSMS issues.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer (level 1) or Engineer (level 2).
Associate Engineer: $59,900 to $89,900
Engineer: $72,100 to $108,100
